Poppy Dharsono dress collections in Indonesia Fashion Week bring the mini Indonesian cultures

Pastel as the Muslim fashion color trend in Indonesia Fashion Week 2013

Indonesia Fashion Week (IFW) February 15, 2013,  presents a variety of activities surrounding the Muslim fashion. Jakarta Fashion Week 2013


Jakarta Fashion Week (JFW) is one of fashion event that I wait to see each year. JFW will be held just about a few days later.  In the plan JFW will be held at Plaza Senayan, Jakarta in 3-9 November 2012. Many famous designers from Indonesia and Asia will enliven this event, they will join the fashion show to show of their new fashion masterpiece collection. 

They said that Jakarta Fashion Week 2013 will be more fame than the JFW event before. There are about 59 fashion shows, 19.000 invited guests, 65 press conferences that will be attend by 1000 journalists from Indonesia and abroad. 

On 59 fashion shows there are 190 fashion designers who will show their new collection. The 190 fashion designers are included new fashion designers from famous fashion mode school in Indonesia like Binus International, Esmod, LaSalle College International and Raffles Institute of Higher Education.
The abroad designer who will join this event like the famous Lie Bang from Korea, Thailand designer like Akara, Dhanu, Payapa and Paul Direk and fashion designer from England like Fyodor & Golan. Fyodor & Golan which former from CFE is planned will show their collection in the last day.

Sebastian Gunawan and Lie Bang who will open this event. A little leak about the famous designer who will join the fashion show like Anne Avantie, Josephine Werratie Komara alias Obin, Lenny Agustin, Itang Yunasz who design Muslim fashion, Ghea Panggabean and Priyo Oktaviano. After the JFW there is JFW Fashion Forward also and the designer who enliven this event are Albert Yanuar, Barli Asmara, Bretzel, Cotton Ink, Dian Pelangi, Jeffry Tan, Major Minor dan Yosafat D Kurniawan. JFW Fashion Forward is a program to develop the local designer, this event is idea of Jakarta Fashion Week supported by Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy.
