For movie maniacs who love fantasy films like Alice in Wonderland (I personally adore the cartoon version!), you might be excited to watch Oz: The Great and Powerful.
This movie, which was released on March 8, 2013, features an amazing star-studded cast — James Franco, Mila Kunis, Michelle Williams, and Rachel Weisz.
The film’s costumes are absolutely stunning, incorporating designs by Gary Jones (Spider-Man 2) and Michael Kutsche (Alice in Wonderland), all beautifully adorned with Swarovski Elements.
And because we simply can’t resist a little sparkle, we got a peek at exclusive images of the cast in their dazzling costumes. Fun fact: over 260,000 Swarovski crystals were used to decorate the majestic throne in Emerald City, as well as the witches’ outfits and accessories!

“Swarovski’s history of working with costume, jewelry, and set designers on some of Hollywood’s most iconic productions goes back 75 years to when Dorothy tapped her Swarovski-encrusted ruby slippers,” said Nadja Swarovski, a member of the executive board of Swarovski Crystal Business. “So it’s thrilling to add sparkle to [director] Sam Raimi’s incredible new film.”
